Cornmeal.

Reference in News:

"After using cornmeal for a couple of years, the mounds disappeared. I was remiss this year and did not apply cornmeal until August. At that time, I had a large ant mound next to the driveway. The mound is now gone, and the only thing I did was apply cornmeal to the yard. I don't know whether the cornmeal had anything to do with the disappearance of the mounds."

The Dallas Morning News

"My great-grandmother often used corn, cornmeal and hominy in her recipes. While researching my families’ recipes for my cookbooks, I was delighted to discover the history behind Indian Pudding."
